I am a year older today. I still long for love and affection and attention and all the other stuff but I am so happy that I am working towards finding happiness with whatever I have. I make a commitment to strive to live in the present and appreciate the gifts I got in life. The next year of my life I will document at least 1 gift I have in my life each day. I know I am blessed, I just have to accept it and see it clearly.
I loved my birthday. Sandip and Rishi brought cake which I cut at mid night. Keshav called a few minutes early so that he could be the first one to wish me. Suman had called earlier to wish too. In the morning, I talked to my parents in Skype. It was so good to see Ma and Didibhai. We spent so long talking today. It really was one of the best birthdays ever. In the evening we went t Mission and sang Christmas Carols. It was a lot of fun. I talked and saw Baba on Skype too later tonight. Love new technology. Rishi's love and his hugs are all I need to make my day bright. I am truly blessed!!
The gift I treasured today was the love of family. And the companionship of good people in Mission. What's not to love about my life today?
